Clinical Director, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Dr. Moore is a married father of five children, and has a passion for helping people. He especially loves working with couples and almost exclusively specializes in treating pornography and sex addiction. He also works very frequently helping people through the effects of extramarital affairs.

Dr. Moore has provided individual, family, and couple counseling services since 2005 and is committed to competent, kind, and comprehensive treatment of the problems you bring to counseling.

Apart from his clinical work, Dr. Moore has published papers in academic journals with a national readership. He has given presentations and workshops at local and national conferences on topics related to marriage and family therapy in California, Tennessee, Oregon, and Utah. He has taught at Brigham Young University, Utah Valley University, and Argosy University. Dr. Moore is also the recipient of two research awards for his work relating to relationship problems and the cost of family therapy, including an award from the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Currently, Dr. Moore serves as the President-Elect for the Utah Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. He is also Assistant Director of Brigham Young University’s Comprehensive Clinic.

Dr. Moore provides clinical supervision and training for all of Utah Valley Counseling’s therapists.
