Therapists at Utah Valley Counseling are specialized in treating individuals and couples affected by pornography and sex addiction. Utah Valley Counseling providers have pioneered treatment of compulsive pornography use and addiction, sex addiction, lust addiction, and love addiction for both male and female addicts, and relational trauma related to a partner or family members addiction. Many refer to this type of trauma as betrayal trauma or PTSD. Utah Valley Counseling providers have specialized training in facilitating a full disclosure and the healing process that follows, including creating healthy boundaries, secure and healthy attachment and repairing the relationship.

Erica Delgado, M.S., Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Erica is from Phoenix, Arizona and has spent the last nine years falling in love with Utah. She received her Master’s degree from Brigham Young University in Marriage and Family Therapy. Erica specializes in helping people overcome sexual addiction and related trauma, and couples issues like communication and conflict management. She also treats anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and life events or transitions (including faith crisis and faith transitions).

Allyson Evans, M.MFT., Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Allyson received her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Utah State University. She is dedicated to efficient work in therapy and getting right to solutions. She specializes in addiction recovery treatment and related trauma. Allyson truly enjoys working with couples. In therapy she takes a comprehensive approach to wellness that takes into account treating the “whole person.” Allyson works with individuals, couples, and families dealing with addiction, illness, depression and/or anxiety.

Danae Harding, M.S., Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Danae was born and raised in Utah Valley. She earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University in California. Danae is passionate about helping clients find growth, health, strength, and happiness in relationships, and in life. She enjoys working with people dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, identity, perfectionism, relationship issues, addiction recovery, and LGBT issues.

Micah Ingalls, M.S., Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Micah is from Claremont, California. He earned his master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brigham Young University. He works with couples, families, and individuals who are experiencing sex and pornography addictions, trauma, depression, anxiety, or self-esteem challenges. Micah is a compassionate and enthusiastic therapist who is committed to helping individuals, families and couples find strength and healing in their lives.

Julie Malloy, M.S., Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Julie is a Utah native and received her master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Brigham Young University. Within a safe environment, Julie helps her clients recognize strengths and resources to achieve their personal goals. She specializes in helping clients work through anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and addictions and recovery. Julie understands and respects the courage it takes to come to counseling and believes that counseling makes a profound impact in peoples’ lives.

Christopher W. Matteson, M.S., Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Christopher has a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Brigham Young University and has worked as a therapist since 2004. Christopher has worked in many therapy settings including: Wasatch Mental Health, Valley Mental Health, Aspen Achievement Academy, and the Center for Family Preservation & Progress. Christopher enjoys helping couples and families, and people struggling with depression and anxiety. Christopher also has specialized training in treating sexual addictions.

Megan Rogers, M.S., Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Megan was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and received her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brigham Young University. She is passionate about couple’s therapy and especially loves working with teenagers and their families. Megan focuses on the treatment of sexual addiction, eating disorders or unhealthy relationships with food, perfectionism, anxiety, depression, and parent-child relationships.

Daniel K. Solen, M.A., Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Dan has a passion for helping and loves to find unique solutions to problems that keep people stuck. He has a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University and has worked in private practice settings and inpatient addiction treatment for New Roads Treatment Centers. Dan specializes in treating sexual addictions and extramarital affairs. He also works with people struggling with depression, anxiety, compulsive behaviors, among other concerns people bring to counseling.

Colton Waldron, M.MFT., Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Colton enjoys helping couples and families reach their relationship goals. He specializes in working with infidelity, pornography use and partner trauma, difficult life stages and transitions, relationship satisfaction, and depression and anxiety. Colton focuses on helping his clients use their relationship and behavior patterns to accomplish their goals, guiding them in re-patterning unsuccessful interactions.

Alyson Watkins, M.S., Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Alyson was born and raised in New York and has a master’s degree in mental health counseling. With a lifelong passion for helping people who are struggling, Alyson values strong, empathic listening skills and helps her clients look for effective solutions in their lives. Alyson specializes in working with those suffering with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and addictions. She also works with women’s issues such as self-esteem, shame, and body image.

Utah Valley Counseling Directors
Lindsay manages Utah Valley Counseling’s operations and office, including insurance and other third-party billing, graphic design, social media and outreach. She has a background in human resources and office management and has worked in HR and office management positions with Hampton Inn & Suites, Sodexho facilities management, and Utah Valley University facilities.
Adam Moore, Ph.D., Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Dr. Moore has provided individual, family, and couple counseling services since 2005. He specializes in sexual addictions like compulsive pornography use. He also has worked extensively with couples healing from the effects of extramarital affairs, and enjoys working with individuals and couples with many types of presenting concerns.
Apart from his clinical work, Dr. Moore has published papers in academic journals with a national readership. He has given presentations and workshops at local and national conferences on topics related to marriage and family therapy in California, Tennessee, Oregon, and Utah. Dr. Moore has taught at Brigham Young University, Utah Valley University, and Argosy University and is the recipient of two research awards for his work relating to relationship problems and the cost of family therapy. Currently, Dr. Moore serves as President-Elect for the Utah Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and is Assistant Director of Brigham Young University’s Comprehensive Clinic.
Dr. Moore oversees clinical work at Utah Valley Counseling and provides training for the therapists in sexual addiction treatment processes.
Lauren – Office Manager
Lauren has worked in event planning, retail, and forensic anthropology. At Utah Valley Counseling, Lauren manages office operations, and provides support to clinicians and directors.
