Utah Valley Counseling Therapists
Kenneth has training and experience treating relationship struggles, trauma, depression, and anxiety. He is EMDR trained, so he can provide extensive help dealing with traumas from your past and present.
Susie works with people facing issues around self-esteem, betrayal, relationships, eating disorders, autism spectrum diagnoses, attachment wounds, and spiritual and faith development. She offers extra emphasis on self-care, mindfulness, and other wellness practices.
Sam is a person-centered and trauma-informed approach therapist who can adapt to your specific needs in the therapeutic space. Sam works with anxiety, depression, autism, trauma, LGBTQ+ concerns, sexual problems, and relationship issues.
Tara has worked with a wide range of people, including victims, tribal services, juveniles, elderly, addictions, hospice and crisis work. She treats PTSD, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues.
James is a compassionate, thoughtful therapist who focuses on anxiety, depression, trauma, and self-esteem issues. He focuses on careful evaluation of what you bring to counseling and helps create a personal, tailored treatment plan that fits your exact needs.
Directors and Staff
Associate Clinical Director
Dan oversees supervision of associate therapists and provides training and consultation to new hires. He provides training to therapists in the ARM-5 treatment model for compulsive sexual behaviors, and also provides in-house EMDR training for Sela Health therapists.
Associate Clinical Director
Allyson provides supervision for associate therapists as well as consultation and training for new Sela Health therapists. In addition, she provides support for therapist clinical documentation.
Dr. Adam M. Moore
Dr. Adam Moore has provided professional counseling for over a decade. He specializes in treating sexual addiction (including pornography addiction), and extramarital affairs.
Dr. Moore is an educator and public speaker. He has taught both undergraduate and graduate courses at Brigham Young University, Argosy University, and Utah Valley University. He has shared presentations and workshops on pornography and sexual addiction recovery with many thousands of people across the state of Utah.
Dr. Moore provides training and supervision for all Utah Valley Counseling therapists.
Lindsay manages Utah Valley Counseling’s operations, including insurance and other third-party billing, graphic design, social media and outreach. She has a background in human resources and office management and has worked in HR and office management positions with Hampton Inn & Suites, Sodexho facilities management, and Utah Valley University facilities.
Lauren manages office operations, receives intake phone calls, assigns new clients to therapists, and provides support to Utah Valley Counseling clinicians and directors. Lauren's previous work history includes event planning, retail, and forensic anthropology.
