Therapists at Utah Valley Counseling are specialized in treating individuals and couples affected by pornography and sex addiction. Danae was born and raised in Utah Valley. She earned her master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University in California. She is passionate about helping clients find growth, health, strength, and happiness in relationships, and in life. She enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families who are dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, identity, perfectionism, relationship issues, addiction recovery, and LGBT issues.

Danae works collaboratively with her clients to identify personalized unique solutions to create lasting, meaningful change. Danae also has training in the contemporary gestalt therapy model.

Christopher has a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Brigham Young University and has worked as a therapist since 2004.

Christopher has worked in many therapy settings including: Wasatch Mental Health, Valley Mental Health, Aspen Achievement Academy, and the Center for Family Preservation & Progress.

Christopher enjoys helping couples and families, and people struggling with depression and anxiety. Christopher also has specialized training in treating sexual addictions.

Dan has training in EMDR therapy and works extensively with people healing from the effects of trauma. I work with parents who are struggling to raise difficult children as well.

Dr. Adam M. Moore

Clinical Director

Dr. Adam Moore has provided professional counseling for over a decade. He specializes in treating sexual addiction (including pornography addiction), and extramarital affairs.

Dr. Moore is an educator and public speaker. He has taught both undergraduate and graduate courses at Brigham Young University, Argosy University, and Utah Valley University. He has shared presentations and workshops on pornography and sexual addiction recovery with many thousands of people across the state of Utah.

Dr. Moore provides training and supervision for all Utah Valley Counseling therapists.

Lindsay manages Utah Valley Counseling’s operations, including insurance and other third-party billing, graphic design, social media and outreach. Brittany McCulloch


Brittany McCulloch graduated with a bachelors degree in Social Work from Brigham Young University. She has worked assisting the Dean of the College of Nursing at BYU, as a secretary for Snow College human resources, as a secretary for BYU's department of Integrative Biology, and as an office assistant and secretary at the Indaba Center. Brittany currently works as an intern for Dr. Moore and is involved with Utah Valley Counseling's social media, business collaborations, and community outreach / public relations.
