Hi, I’m Nick.

My goal is to enable my clients to better navigate the world around them and live more authentic and fulfilling lives. My treatment approaches is based in research on what produces the best outcomes in therapy, and our job in your therapy sessions is to help tailor that approach to your specific needs.

I believe that the connection and trust you feel with me in therapy is the strongest predictor of how much you will benefit from our meetings. I will walk your path alongside you and help you work toward greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, resilience, and personal growth.

I can help with a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, problematic sexual behaviors (like compulsive pornography use), trauma, and grief and loss. I am particularly interested in working with concerns around neurodivergence, like ADHD and autism. I enjoy working with adults but I have a special place in my heart for teens and young adults. I’ve worked for nearly a decade with teens in various capacities.

In addition to my work as a counselor, I am also passionate about mental health advocacy and education. I regularly participate in research and workshops to stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field, and I’m committed to raising awareness and reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness.

Outside of work, I find joy and comfort in the natural world, hiking, camping, movies, video games, music, and my relationships with others.

Nick is a therapist intern working under Dan Solen, CMHC, and sees clients in person in our Provo office and from anywhere in Utah online via a secure telehealth platform.
