Hi, I’m Amanda.

I’m a clinical mental health counseling intern, ready to empower you to develop a stronger sense of self and find healthy ways of coping with life challenges. I enjoy working with young adults and adults, developing a strong collaborative relationship and helping you feel more at peace.

My personal experience growing up in Hawai’i has helped me be familiar with Asian American and Pacific Islander culture and family dynamics. I like working through a multicultural lens as I believe our unique cultural experiences and identities play a substantial role in our lives.

It is an honor to witness growth and change in my clients as they work toward achieving their full potential. If you have dealt with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, trauma, and abuse, I am ready to support you through your journey of healing.

I have experience and training in dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and trauma-focused therapy.

Amanda works in our St. George, Utah office and sees clients via secure telehealth (video conferencing) platform.
